No More RETS?

The industry is slowly transitioning away from RETS, for the following reasons:

RESO is no longer updating RETS specs, shifting efforts entirely to the RESO Web API.
RETS is a legacy standard built on outdated technology which is nearly 20 years old.
RETS requires many individual requests to pull all data for a specific property which can result in missing data.
RETS approval is an entirely manual process, from paperwork to RETS credentials.
